Your First Visit 

Not sure what to expect?

Don’t worry — we’ve got this.

Every child is different, so there isn’t a strict routine they have to follow.

 

1️⃣ Arrive at your appointment time

There’s no need to arrive early and wait around in a busy salon. Your appointment is your child’s time.

2️⃣ Get comfortable

Come in, have a look around and let your child settle. They can explore the toys, watch TV, play or simply sit with you.

3️⃣ We’ll work out what they need

Some children want to get straight into the chair. Others need a little longer. That’s completely fine.

4️⃣ Time for the haircut ✂️

Your child can use the car chair, watch TV, play Xbox, sit on the sofa or have distractions while I work.

 

5️⃣ Take breaks whenever needed

There’s no expectation that your child will sit perfectly still from start to finish.

We’ll have one.

 

6️⃣ Celebrate the achievement 💛

Whether we’ve achieved a full haircut, most of a haircut or simply made a little progress towards the next one…

It’s still an achievement.

 

And if your child doesn’t manage the haircut?

That’s okay.

Really.

You haven’t failed.

Your child hasn’t failed.

Sometimes the first visit is simply about building trust.

We’ll try again when they’re ready.

No pressure. No judgement. Just patience.

 

Please remember that children’s haircuts are booked into 30-minute appointments. If your child needs additional time, an additional appointment slot will need to be booked and paid for.
